--lame.....
The color slipped from her cheeks, the heavy rain and her tears mixing on her pallid cheeks. She raised her frail, quivering hand slowly. The wind threatened to blow her abnormally thin frame into the surrounding sea. A small gem glowed patheticly, reflecting the dim moonlight. Her quiet eyes searched the islands around her, a silent prayer escaping her feeble lips, a tired wish that someone would take note of her signal. If none of her companions on the close islands saw her gem it meant they had drowned when the ocean flooded the hills. Her bony fingers twitched around the stone as it's glow grew a fraction. Lightning struck the shore meters away from her, the sand turning to a glassy solid. Her eys widened and her heart raced. This strands of black hair flew around her face, covering her searching eyes. She brushed it back and see I'm already bored.... ah I can't write. Apparently.
